Dear Resident One of our current beat Priority's for the NL65 Loughborough East Beat is Burglary Prevention, and we're encouraging residents to take a few simple steps to make their property less attractive to thieves.
Mark It
Make your valuables harder to sell and easier for police to identify by marking them with your postcode, house number, or the first three letters of your address.
Consider using a police-approved forensic marking product that is only visible under UV light. These products help link stolen items back to their rightful owners and increase the chances of offenders being caught. Don't forget to display any warning stickers or signs that come with forensic marking kits. Criminals are less likely to target properties where marked items can be traced.
